Warehouse storage and consolidation after a USFans spreadsheet order
After warehouse QC, goods can sit in China while you add more spreadsheet finds. Storage and packing happen on USFans, not on this index. Confirm the current free-storage window in your account before you treat a haul as free to hold.
- Storage is a USFans warehouse service. This spreadsheet index does not hold parcels.
- Consolidation usually costs less than shipping each hoodie or pair of shoes alone — until the carton gets huge.
- Free days, overtime fees, and parcel-submit rules change. Confirm them inside USFans, not from a Discord pin.
What storage is actually doing
The seller ships to the agent warehouse. After intake and photos, that unit sits on a warehouse line until you submit a parcel. That waiting period is storage. It exists so spreadsheet buyers can order from several Weidian shops over days or weeks and still leave China as one carton.
USFans’ help cluster includes a “goods storage period” topic. The number of free days is a live commercial rule, not a spreadsheet constant. Affiliate pages still recycle “90 days” or “60 days” as if it were physics. This index will not invent a number. Open the timer on your order line in USFans.
What consolidation is for
Consolidation means packing several checked-in items into one international parcel: one weigh-in, one courier line, one tracking number. That is usually cheaper than exporting each tee on its own. It is not automatically cheaper than two medium cartons if you stuff eight shoe boxes into one cube and pay volumetric weight on empty air.
Shoe boxes and puffers still surprise the quote. A rehearsal or warehouse weigh-in belongs in the plan when the haul is bulky. See shipping estimates for actual versus volumetric weight, and for why the packed number can move about ±5–10% from an early estimate.
When to keep holding vs when to ship
Hold if you are still adding items and the warehouse photos look right. Ship if the quote is acceptable and you do not want overtime storage. Return or exchange first if QC shows the wrong size, damage, or a different colorway — returns after QC are a China-warehouse decision, not an after-delivery plan.
Holding “until the next drop” only works if the storage clock and the seller’s stock both cooperate. A listing that disappears next week does not extend your free window. Overtime fees, when they apply, show on the warehouse line. Paying a small overtime bill can still beat splitting the haul into two express shipments — run the numbers in the account, not in a comment section.
Packing choices that change the bill
Retail boxes protect sneakers and add volume. Poly bags save space and crease collars. Folding jackets flat is not the same as vacuum-packing a puffer into a brick. Ask for the packing option that matches the goods, then wait for the packed dimensions before you pick express. Photos of the item are not photos of the carton.
Do not mix restricted SKUs into a clothes haul as an afterthought. Batteries, liquids, and perfume follow the courier line, not the storage aisle. If those items cannot travel on the line you want, they should never have entered the same warehouse plan. Details sit on the shipping page.
Photos, storage clocks, and parcel submit all sit in your USFans dashboard. If a page here and the dashboard disagree, trust the dashboard.
